SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (m/f) 100%

In your role you will develop the European client base and source new clients as well as expanding the existing client offering. You develop sustainable and profitable strategic relationships and collaborate closely with internal and external teams (M&A, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Advisory, Execution etc.) when elaborating investment solutions. Furthermore, you also support clients as well as regional Managing Directors. You also contribute to internal meetings and processes and help to improve the overall performance of the company and continuously increase productivity. You are building new relationships and collaborating closely with intermediaries and internal and external stakeholders in highly regulated and competitive markets. With your activities you improve existing client relationships by deepening the connection with key decision makers and ensuring that current investment solutions meet latest regulations and business policies. You also work with the Head of Business Development and the top Management in helping to shape the future service and product offering of the Group.

In summary, the new Manager can best be described as someone who is very familiar with the financial industry and has a convincing mindset while being very good at risk assessment. He can think laterally, shows creativity and has both a good analytical ability while able to go into detail. A quick thinker with a certain ease and very good communication skills; someone with an open mind as well as the willingness to go the extra mile and the ability to «sell» and who is also internationally experienced and confident.

The leadership and communication skills of the new Senior Business Development Manager are of great importance. You should have a natural authority as well as a high level of commitment to act with vision. Due to your creative «doer» mentality, you will be able to act successfully and with pragmatism. At the same time, it is important that you are very team-oriented while being very grounded. Furthermore, you think and act innovatively and have an exceptional sales and client orientation. With your doing you will strengthen the existing team and convince with your experience, personality and leadership strength. By doing so, you will be respected as a professional on all levels and discuss on an equal footing.

To succeed in our client’s highly dynamic and challenging business environment we are seeking a hands-on and proactive self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills. Goal-orientation and having a pragmatic approach with attention to details and quality are important attributes, together with strong analytical and conceptual skills. Your ability to work autonomously as well as part of a small, global team is key to your success in this role.
