Area HR Manager

In a nutshell, you provide full support in all HR operations to local country organizations across Eastern Europe and parts of Africa. By doing so, you effectively collaborate with your superior, the Head HR EMEA, as well as the relevant corporate and regional partners in your assigned global area. In this vital role, you have multiple functions rolled into one, acting as a competent, versatile and agile coach, advisor, trouble shooter and change agent for the country executives. Liaising between the Headquarters and the management on site, you develop and introduce tools and core procedures, enhance group objectives and drive corporate projects within your region. Moreover, you provide leadership in a wide range of HR related operational and administrative services to the subsidiaries – always with an open eye and ear on the specific local business needs. In line with the company’s HR policies, your main concerns will be the acquisition of new team members, employee engagement, succession planning and talent management. Specifically, this means filling management positions, assisting onboarding processes and international assignments as well as performance evaluations and compensation reviews. Your stakeholder management also includes guidance in critical personnel matters and change issues. Last but not least, you cover various global projects at EMEA level.

To succeed in this challenging position, you are a straightforward self-starter with a significant HR track record in international, fast-paced corporate environments. Previous experience in a management function is a must, whereas responsibility for remote staff is desirable. A comprehensive knowhow of HR principles, practices and procedures helps you to implement complex HR assignments. If you possess a strategic mindset with a strong focus on operational execution and a hands-on, action-oriented approach, you match the lean company culture of our client.
