For the Zurich office of our client, a leading Swiss industrial company, we seek to recruit a keen and energetic

HR Project Manager (m/f) 80-100%

In this interface function, you will support your manager, the Head HR EMEA, in all aspects of her wide-ranging responsibilities. First and foremost, you will be responsible for the administration of all relevant HR tasks and processes for the top management within the Business unit, regionally as well as locally. Specifically, you will be involved in the entire employee life cycle such as global talent management and bonus processes, performance and salary reviews plus succession planning. On your own account, you will be in charge for the daily administration, e.g. internal transfers, resignations, retirements, record up-keeping, preparing certificates and writing advertisements as well as announcements. Serving as the link between your manager, your peers and HR area managers across the business, you will be holding your internal clients to account for deadlines and for ensuring completion of projects. On top, you will participate in various HR projects. Self-sufficient as your manager may be, you will assist her in certain organizational aspects of her business life. It goes without saying that, in general, you will not be playing a purely executing role, but will be actively forming service quality within HR EMEA. In a nutshell: your expertise will be valued.

You are expected to have completed a commercial apprenticeship or the equivalent with a degree in Business Administration or HR and several years of experience in a similar role. Previous tenure in a fast-paced global industry will have given you the ability to quickly gain an understanding of the worldwide nature of the business. You will have authority without being formal and will be confident without being arrogant – you prefer a casual team culture with a hands-on and outcome-oriented spirit. In the same context, you enjoy making independent decisions and finding a solution for every challenge. Thanks to your mental flexibility, efficiency and resilience under pressure, you will successfully handle and prioritize multiple projects in a highly agile way. Excellent social and communication skills will enable you to establish an effective internal network within the company and to effortlessly liaise with the upper management. This is where your excellent command of English and German will step in. Proficiency with MS Office and Successfactors and an affinity for innovative web trends are equally required. Attention to detail, reliability and discretion are, of course, key aspects of this challenging position.
