Senior Director Finance & Administration for Supply Chain & Central Functions (m/f) 100%
working from either Bellheim, Germany or Neuburg/Kammel, Germany.
In a nutshell, you have two distinct responsibilities in three production plants in Germany and the US. On one hand, you are in charge for the overall financial and controlling activities of the Supply Chain & Central Functions of the Division. On the other hand, you manage the P&L and have the ownership for the financial forecasting, budgeting as well as the preparation of business plans and management reports for the manufacturing plants. This means providing leadership, direction and management to the finance and controlling teams. You play an integral entrepreneurial role as business partner for a number of key people. First and foremost, this is the Head of Supply Chain and the Senior Management in the local production sites whom you are pro-actively supporting and challenging on a broad range of topics and thus contributing to the overall success of the company. Together with a team of experts and key application owners, you will support the Division’s global ERP project with all necessary finance and controlling input and design processes, ensuring implementation and go-live in each manufacturing plant according to project roadmap. You report to the head of Finance and Administration and are supported by six direct reports within controlling, situated at each site. You are a committed and energetic change-maker with an eye on business excellence and the company’s core values and compliance standards.
To succeed in this challenging position, you are a straightforward self-starter with a university degree in finance, controlling or a related field. Moreover, you have a track record of at least 5 years in a relevant international leadership role. On top, you are an expert when it comes to controlling of manufacturing units, complemented by a “touch and feel” experience on the production floor. Whereas experience in Swiss GAAP FER is considered a plus, profound expertise with ERP application (SAP R/3 or S/4 as a “super user” and in implementation projects) and consolidation software (IBM Cognos) is an absolute must. Furthermore, you possess a well-structured analytical mindset with a strong focus on efficiency and reliability. The right personal fit requires a hands-on personality with a sharp and open mindset and flexibility to adapt to ongoing change. Alternating between a detailed view and abstraction comes as naturally to you as weighing between risks and opportunities. Your excellent networking and interpersonal talent enable you to drive collaboration on all levels. In order to meet the business needs, you are confident in a culturally diverse environment and open to occasional travelling.
