Global IT Manager 100% (m/f)

Directly reporting to the CEO of the group, overseeing and supporting the Information technology (IT) of all operating units is the core of your tasks. As the Global IT Manager you support IT strategic planning efforts and ensure that IT programs and initiatives are in line with business objectives and group strategies. Controlling and reviewing IT budgets, including capital investments and overseeing equipment in terms of business performance needs, are part of your comprehensive job scope. On top, you monitor security standards to protect technology resources and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You are a sparring partner to the various business units when it comes to sound support as well as professional guidance. Moreover, you guide and drive large IT business projects such as ERP implementations and digital transformations over all phases with a sharp eye on delivery objects, deadlines, costs, quality and risks. Defining and introducing the project tools, documentation and reporting are part of it. As an IT specialist with a proven knack for identifying technological opportunities, you will contribute to designing business solutions and developing IT standards to meet the group’s needs of today and tomorrow.

Our ideal candidate has a university degree in information technology or computer science, supplemented by a total of ten years working experience, of which at least three years in a leading IT role. Ideally, this took place in a small to medium sized company with an international reach. Strong project management skills are among your key strengths, permitting you to juggle global projects in a competent and timely way. You have a proven expertise in the analysis and implementation of a variety of IT systems. In this context, previous exposure to ERP systems, possibly Navision, is helpful. The global structure and its cross-cultural setup require outstanding leadership talent across all levels and experience in handling external business partners. Excellent English and German are therefore essential. Working both autonomously and interactively with other team members, you demonstrate a service focus and a strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness. Thanks to your initiative and tenacity, blended with a well-structured and creative approach, you will play a vital role in contributing to the company’s ongoing success. On a personal level, you are an open-minded and result-oriented personality with good stakeholder management. In addition, you possess a can-do mentality and a hands-on attitude.
